Art House Residencies
Art House Residencies
The Art House invites visual artists working in any medium to apply for 2 one-month residencies at The Silesian Castle of Art and Enterprise in Cieszyn (Poland) in partnership with KaSS Strzelnice in Czech Cieszyn (Czech Republic) from 12 June 2006-7 July 2006. Successful applicants will work alongside artists from the Czech Republic and Poland and will develop their own work in with consideration of the residency context.
There is no fee, however included is studio work space, materials budget, accommodation, all meals, travel expenses, inclusion in the project exhibition, publication and art work sale (July 06).
The deadline for applications is 5pm on Thursday 27 April 2006.

Emergences Festival, Paris, France
For the 4th edition of the Festival, Emergences is looking for projects in all fields, in particular, performances, circus, street arts, puppets, visual arts, architecture, game art, art biotech, artistic interventions in urban space, network performances (particularly collaborations with other festivals in France and elsewhere).The principal artistic themes are: – mobility, network and ubiquity; the intimate, the unusual and the strange; urbanity and nature; and art in the town. Artistic projects including the public and/or taking into account the space used by the representation will also be appreciated.

Arches LIVE! – Call For Proposals
For two weeks in September, the Arches will become a hub of creative activity, with every possible space filled with innovative, experimental new productions from all performance disciplines.
Arches LIVE! offers young companies a supportive platform for risk-taking and allows the building to become a meeting point, area for experimentation and site of debate.
Following the success of last year we are expanding our programme and want you to get involved.
The Arches invites companies and individual artists to submit proposals for performances to be considered for the 2006 festival. Arches LIVE! celebrates the multi-disciplinary nature of our organisation, there> '> s no rules really, as long as its new work, anything goes!
Please send a detailed proposal, including the following information: nature of piece, names of artists and creators, stage requirements, get-in, fit-up, running times, lighting and sound requirements, cv's of all those involved.
Any images or dvd clips of previous work can also be sent.
Please send hard copies only by post to until 1st May.
