The History of Women’s Theatre

Were you involved in the development of Women's Theatre in Britain – as the audience, as an actor, as a director, author, designer or other theatre worker? If so please click here to help a researcher develop as full a picture as possible of the development of women's theatre. Remember if we don't cherish our histories, nobody else is going to! For two weeks in September, the Arches will become a hub of creative activity, with every possible space filled with innovative, experimental new productions from all performance disciplines.

Arches LIVE! offers young companies a supportive platform for risk-taking and allows the building to become a meeting point, area for experimentation and site of debate.

Following the success of last year we are expanding our programme and want you to get involved.

The Arches invites companies and individual artists to submit proposals for performances to be considered for the 2006 festival. Arches LIVE! celebrates the multi-disciplinary nature of our organisation, there> '> s no rules really, as long as its new work, anything goes!
